Rockets

I saw a diagram of rockets the other day on Twitter and remembered when rockets were cool and exciting and didn’t make me feel sick about how much money governments pump into space programs instead of using it to feed hungry kids or buying me things.
When did that happen? When did I become this cynical piece of shit? When did live music stop being fun? When did standing up start feeling so tiring? When did drinking become a chore?
Rockets are cool. They go to space, they’re huge, they land on big old rocks which is neat. I still enjoy learning about the moon landing. It’s a real triumph of human achievement if you ask me (which you didn’t).
If I smash my head against a wall enough times, will I start to think rockets are cool again and forget about the crisis in the Middle East? Will I start thinking Weezer are still good? Will I stop writing this blog and touch grass? Stay tuned, folks.
I’m only 23 and I cannot comprehend how people live to 100 years old. That’s a long time.
